First, I take a satin fabric that I like and mark small squares on it, each measuring 4 by 4 cm, using a template. Instead of cutting them, I burn them directly so I get exactly the shape I need and so the fabric won’t fray.

Now the magic begins. I fold each square in half, then fold the corners toward the center to create a petal shape. I use tweezers to hold the folds in place and burn the tip of the petal so it keeps its shape.

How do you do it?

I take a needle and thread and tie a knot at the end. Now I string all five petals onto the thread, one after the other, placing them very close together. When I finish threading them all, I gently pull the thread so the petals come together and form a flower. To keep it from coming apart, I secure the thread and I have a flower :)

Now I take the round base and put a little hot glue on it. I attach the flower I created and wait for the glue to dry. To make the flower even prettier, I add a gemstone in the center or sew on a few beads.

This is the final and most exciting stage! Now I can decide what the flower’s final use will be. If I want a hair clip, I simply glue the flower onto a clip base. If I prefer a hair tie, I attach it to an elastic band. I use strong glue and make sure to let it dry really well preferably for a whole day to avoid any surprises.
